City Workers Can’t Afford The City

Municipal City workers that cannot afford to live in the city.  Working Class Americans have been forced into a “debtor slavery” system, that has us living hand to mouth, paycheck to paycheck.

This is what gentrification has brought us to, all over the US. In my corner of of the planet, the San Francisco Bay Area has one of the most expensive housing markets in the world. New York City is in the same price range.

How long can this way of life be sustained? How long will it be tolerated? Something has got to give.
